Apple have officially announced the new MacBook pro lineup and it looks pretty sleek, Featuring the common 13", 15" or 17" screen sizes which were featured on the previous macbook pro's.

Processing power and graphics have had a healthy boost, but the thing that appeals most is the inclusion of a seemingly very capable high-speed IO.

Since the Express card slots were removed on 15-inch models and below some time ago, there hasn't been much in the way of high speed connectivity possible for your MacBook Pro - unless you count the Firewire 800 port.

The new Thunderbolt IO has been described by Apple saying: "Thunderbolt pipeline is more than 12 times faster than FireWire 800 and up to 20 times faster than USB 2.0, and it offers unprecedented expansion capabilities. It changes what you can do on a notebook."

Some new features of the Macbook Pro are very impressive such as the awesome HD Facetime which is now featured on the new Macbook Pro lineup.

Some more features are:-

Intel Core i7 Processors

AMD Radeon Graphics

Ultra Fast Input/Output Connectivity "Thunderbolt"

So it is all very exciting stuff and I will be getting my hands on one in July/August so a review will be up then.
